The starting point of this journey will be Athens: the birthplace of western civilization. Following a deep dive in Athens's ancient & cultural center, where the heart of the modern city still rumbles, you'll move south towards Peloponnese. Peloponnese region has left its mark in the history and evolution of Greece, although it has always been a few steps behind the glory, reputation, and status of Athens. What is special about the Peloponnese? It’s tempting to answer, “Everything” because Peloponnese is the stuff of which legends are made.
Numerous myths were born and borne out in the Peloponesse, which is packed with inspiring sites that bring the past to life. From Byzantine cities to Venetian and Frankish fortresses, to classical temples and Mycenaean palaces, the region is peppered with tons of architectural gems. Tucked away in the valleys and hanging from the mountainsides λιε the villages that are among the Peloponnese’s greatest treasures. Greek philoxenia (hospitality) here hasn’t been eroded by busloads of visitors. The region’s natural playground truly mesmerizes, with lofty, snowcapped mountains, lush gorges, valleys of citrus groves and vineyards, cypress trees, and sun-speckled beaches. The places to discover are diverse and fascinating, and so are the memories you'll take with you from this magnificent tour.

Peloponnese tour – perfect for families!

  • by traveler: Janelle N.

We booked this trip after lots of research, as we were looking for a family-friendly tour that would include activities for all ages. This trip was the best decision we could make! We got to see many places, eat at traditional taverns and swim at many exotic beaches. Our favorite thing about this trip was that it combined sea and mountain, so we saw the best of the Peloponnese. What’s more, everything was customized to our needs and the guides were perfect. Thank you for everything!
