The first stop of this tour will be the volcanic islet of the Nea Kameni. Though comparatively small in size, the Nea Kameni islet is one of the most interesting places to visit in Santorini. That’s because it’s home to the active and inactive craters of Santorini volcano. You’re going to spend 1 and a half hours on the islet, exploring the craters and learning about the history of the volcano guided by a local expert.
After you have delved into the fascinating past of the Santorini volcano, you’ll move to Palea Kameni, an islet famous for its volcanic hot springs. There, you’ll swim for 30 minutes in the warm waters of the springs, taking full advantage of their healing properties!
