Marvel at the Venetian Fortress

The imposing Venetian Fortress, at the old port of Naoussa, is the most popular attraction in Naoussa! It was constructed in the 15th century by the Venetians, to protect the island’s port from invasions and it is connected with the island via a narrow stone passage. Even though the observatory of the Venetian Fortress is half-sunk into the sea, the fortress still keeps its medieval charm!
