A wonderful alternative to the nearby (and often very crowded) Paleokastritsa, Rovinia boasts a beautiful natural setting that attracts vacationers who seek tranquility and privacy. The bay is carpeted with a mix of sand and pebbles and has crystal-clear, but a bit cold waters. Rovinia doesn’t have any tourist facilities, but you can find natural shade under the slope that borders the beach.

We adore the breathtaking scenery of Rovinia beach. Peaceful, clean, and untouched by touristic development, this beach is a hidden gem! Keep in mind, though, that you should hike your way down to Rovinia. So, be prepared for a 10-minute hike from the parking lot to the beach -trust us, it’s worth it.
