Red beach is probably the most famous beach in Santorini. Located in the Akrotiri area, this beautiful beach stands out for its red volcanic landscape! It is nestled in a cove protected from the winds and insulated by red cliffs. On the beach, you’ll find umbrellas and loungers provided by the seaside cafes and tavernas. You can access Red beach by car (it’s 20 minutes away from Fira) or by boat.

Why we love it?
The volcanic landscape of Red beach is breathtaking! Even if you don’t go there for swimming, you can take amazing photos from a spot above the beach in Akrotiri. You need to hike for a few minutes to get there, but it’s worth it!
