Monolithos is a volcanic black sand beach with shallow waters, which make it an ideal choice for kids. Although it lies close to the busy Kamari, Monolithos doesn’t get overcrowded, so it’s a great alternative to other overcrowded beaches. On the beach, you’ll find some facilities, like a playground and a basketball court.
