A beach well-known to watersports enthusiasts (the Windsurfing World Championship had been held here for many years), Golden Beach is famous for its ideal wind conditions, as it is battered by the northern Meltemi winds. Golden beach is also loved by families with little kids, thanks to its shallow waters and many facilities. Stretching for 700 meters, it is one of the longest beaches in Paros, offering plenty of space for everyone. Golden Beach is backed by many restaurants, apartments, hotels, and cafes, as well as watersports centers, where you can rent equipment or take lessons. Keep in mind that this beach gets very windy in July and August due to the Meltemi Winds, so it’s not ideal for swimming.
Golden Beach lies on the southern coast of Paros and can be reached by bus from Parikia and Naoussa.
