Agia Irini is a cute little beach located on the west coast of the island, close to Parikia. Surrounded by palm trees, this beach boasts a tropical setting, while its crystalline and shallow waters mark it out as one of the best beaches in Paros for swimming. Its location offers Agia Irini natural protection from the strong Meltemi Winds, that’s why it sometimes gets crowded in summer. This beach took its name from the whitewashed chapel of Agia Irini (Saint Irene), which stands on a hill overlooking the bay. It is a picturesque touch to the exotic ambiance of the beach and an ideal spot for sunset watching.
